Mort's Meat Mafia

One day I bought a small propane smoker and started smoking some meat. I had a few things that came out really good and some not so good. The whole idea started growing into something bigger and I decided to start a competition BBQ team. The team 'Mort's Meat Mafia' is made up of my wife Beth, friend Jeff Heasley and myself. I bought a WSM and a pull behind wood smoker from Custom Pits and we entered our first BBQ competition.

We've done quit well so far but never stop trying to make perfection. I'm not sure we could but will continue to keep trying.
