Yes, Dear BBQ’s Competition Sauce strikes the balance of savory, smoky, sweet, and spicy for a flavor combination perfect for every meat. For years at competitions, we mixed sauces like cocktails as we sought out that pleasing blend. We finally found it, and in refining our own straight-from-the-bottle competition sauce, we sent test batches to our most trusted peers. We bottled one of those samples in an empty juice jar and labeled it simply “Not Juice.” The sauce satisfied, and the name stuck.
